ABOVE: It’s amazing how your view can became beautiful simply by just looking up. This photo shows the ceiling collage at one of many temple building at Lingyin, Hangzhou. The Red-Crowned Crane bird is a national bird in China, and has been considered a symbol of longevity, immortality and nobility. Due to its important symbolism, the bird can be seen easily through China’s art and architecture.
ABOVE: One of my favorite things about traveling in China is the Bonsai Tree. The purposes of bonsai are primarily contemplation (for the viewer) and the pleasant exercise of effort and ingenuity (for the grower).
