ABOVE: Use of incense is ubiquitous in this culture, as easily seen at Lingyin Temple.  Incense are crucial tradition for the locals to offer prayers to their gods.

ABOVE: It’s amazing how your view can became beautiful simply by just looking up. This photo shows the ceiling collage at one of many temple building at Lingyin, Hangzhou.  The Red-Crowned Crane bird is a national bird in China, and has been considered a symbol of longevity, immortality and nobility. Due to its important symbolism, the bird can be seen easily through China’s art and architecture.
